"To Understand a Tree (Time): One Year, 2019-2022" is a 35-minute looped video. It was shot on site weekly at the same time of day, for a period of one year. The frame centers the red oak tree which is the focus of the project "To Understand a Tree," and shows much of the surrounding forest, including a vernal pool in the background. The video was shot from Summer 2019 - Summer 2020, at the same time of day in one-week increments.
