A.P.E. Gallery, Northampton MA.
A 3D continuous line drawing, made of ash wood, comprised of over 250 twelve foot boards joined together on site with scarph joints. The piece was built on-site, improvisationally, and the two week process performance was open to the public. Originally intended to be one inch wide by one mile long, the final line was 3086', at which point the line had achieved a balance between density and fluidity, and tension and compression.
